The Gatlin Brothers bring all the gold in California back to Branson for 2021! One of the music capital’s favorite visiting acts, the Gatlins love to share music from their huge catalog of popular country songs; they’ve racked up more than 15 top ten hits on the country charts, including favorites like “Love of a Lifetime,” “She Used to Be Somebody’s Baby,” “The Lady Takes the Cowboy Everytime,” and “Houston (Means I’m One Day Closer To You.)” And then there’s the song that got them an Academy of Country Music Award for Song of the Year - “All the Gold in California,” easily one of the catchiest tunes to ever hit the country music scene. Other acknowledgements of their work includes Grammy nominations for three of their hits, including “Take Me to Your Lovin’ Place,” and the Cliffie Stone Pioneer Award from the Academy of Country Music. They’ve performed in all the historic venues, including the Ryman Auditorium and Carnegie Hall, and for the last five Republican presidents. They’ve also graced the television screen on numerous talk shows, specials, and a variety of other programs, including shows hosted by Dinah Shore, Merv Griffin, John Davidson, Barbara Mandrell, Ralph Emory, Marty Stuart, and Crook & Chase.
In addition to lending his incredible voice to The Gatlin Brothers, Larry is a prolific songwriter who’s not only penned music for his band, he’s written songs for other huge artists. His songwriting helped him form lifelong friendships, including one with Dottie West, the artist who first recognized his talent and brought him to Nashville. Other influences who would later become his friends, included the late, great Johnny Cash, and legendary singer/songwriter, Kris Kristofferson.
